NO; The Voodoo is an ancient 1991 design. The original version was famous for porosity problems which makes launch dangerous and stalls easily. A Voodoo II cured this and may not be too bad, but there should be better performing and safer used gliders cheaply available.

I'm asking this on behalf of somebody else; is the Airwave voodoo (secondhand, for a good price offcourse) a good intermediate wing for somebody with about 30 flights overall on a Edel Quantum?

The Vodoo is pretty hot wing for someone with so little time, I'm not sure how it would rate with the current system, but it probably would be a DHV 1-2. The wing is relatively fast, but the biggest problem for the low time pilot is that the brakes are very light, and very responsive, to a point that could get a begginner/novice in trouble. Of course the bigger problem is that there was a problem with the cloth they were made of. As I understand it, Voodoos go porous in something like 100 hours, and become hard to launch, easy to get into a deep stall, and their performance is pretty well shot. So in conclusion, those had better be 30 long flights, the pilot better be particularly adept, and the wing better have very few hours, and be very cheap to even consider it. A good Vodoo is quite fun to fly, but it isn't a beginner wing, and they don't stay good for very long.
