I'm curious about the new generation of rigid wings spin characteristics.

Do they spin? Are spins ok to do in them or not recommended?

What's recovery like?

: What's recovery like?

Well, the Swift that inspired the later Millennium was quite stable during spins, and recovery was accomplished by letting go of the control stick, whereupon the craft immediately leveled off and began slowly flying straight forward, I watched a video of this a few years back on one of the TV 'magazines' at the time. I think the 'Mill' has this inherent stability as well, although it is considered to be a hybrid, since it incoporates both fixed and flex elements in its design.

The Millennium certainly spins. I do them for fun. Recovery is staight-forward: just push the stick forward smoothly.

Spin-recovery on other rigid wings, not controlled by a stick, may be different.

Steve, The GhostBuster from Flight Design passed last week the DHV pitch test. It is my choice, and I already ordered.
