I am interested in learning to Paraglide in California, either the San Diego or San Francisco areas. Any recommendations?

Thanks.

There are LOTS of great PG schools in San Diego (I can think of at least 5 off the top of my head), but if I had to pick just one, I'd recommend Kenny Baier's 'Air Junkies Paragliding' (760-753-2664). Kenny not only teaches PG students, he also teaches and certifies USHGA PG instructors, is a member of the USHGA board of directors, and he has been a top-ranked competition pilot. He's also one hell of a nice guy.

I also recommend Ken Baier, he knows all the sites in South California which is a terrific place for flying (better than the Bay Area in my point of view).
