Paragliding Theory - Rules etc...

Hello

I'm thinking of learning to paraglide and would like to learn some of the theory before i start. Also i want to make a head start on learning the stuff i need for the exams upto club pilot.

Are there any web sites with such information, i have found a couple with tips and hints and such like but nothing on the actual thoery of flying a paraglider and the rules associated with it.

You may want to read 'Touching Cloudbase' by Ian Currer and Rob Cruickshank. I have just read it and found it to be very easy to understand and informative. It covers all aspects from learning to fly to advanced flying and is now in it's Third edition and at £11.99 represents very good value for money. Happy flying,

Good idea - any volunteers with Web Sites for this?? For those of us who are web junkies, as well as paragliding junkies, it would be useful - not just for CP but Pilot as well.
