I have just bought a paramotor and am having some trouble with the harness straps. Here is the problem.
I do a hang test in the garage and it feels fine. Then I notice that the straps are spreading wider than my shoulders while hanging. I do some tests and realise that had I tried to fly this thing then the straps would be too wide apart off my shoulders as the weight comes down and engine would fall off my back to the ground on landing due to the straps being too wide. OK for take-off but not OK for landing.
I would welcome any advice on how cure this problem?

Mine do that. When you land your arms will be up and the straps will slide right into place. Do a hang test where you're hanging in a stand-up position and raise your arms and you'll see what I mean. Check this out: http://www.poweredparaglider.com/

Thanks Rich,
I did think of that Rich, but,,, how do you pull the breaks down to flare the landing if your arms still up in the air?
Even doing the standing position hang test the straps just slide off my arms if I lower my arms. Or am I missing something here?
I will take a look at the URL when next on-line. I would welcome any photo's that show the position of arms and harness straps just at that point of landing?
