How does THIS work? Does EVERYONE on this newsgroup get an attachment with no explanation or description? I am always puzzled that anyone would send such an attachment with no explanation or clue as to what the attachment contains and expect most folks to just blindly download it and risk who-knows-what computer cooties getting into their computer!
Is it just me? I hate to think I am missing out on a photo of a beautiful and naked batten bunny or something important like that!

I access newsgroups through AOL. In order to view the body of the message I referred to I would have had to download a file. There was nothing to indicate even the filename let alone whether it was an executable or not.
Only the rare message needs to be downloaded as I have described. Most newsgroup postings can be viewed by clicking on 'message
