Hi! I'm currently living in Portchester, just down the road from you. The nearest club is Skysurfing, which has a few sites just this side of Petersfield, in the vicinity of East Meon.
Further afield, I believe Southern operates a few sites an hours drive to the east of Portsmouth, but I do most of my flying with Thames Valley, which has a load of sites in Wiltshire. This is somewhat further away, probably about 90 mins by car.

Oh yeah .. and there's some paragliding stuff on my web pages. If you've been learning on the IoW, then the one thing you'll probably find different is that the air can be much more active inland... coastal soaring is normally much smoother.
