What sort of insurance?

Third party liability?

Accident rebuild insurance?

Personal accident cover?

Third party liability is covered automatically when you join the BHPA

(British Hang and Paragliding Assn 0116-261-1322) for £62 a year, which is damn fine value, as you get 12 months Skywings mag as well. The 3rd party cover is 2 million, I think.

Look at http://www.bhpa.co.uk

All other insurance (loss, theft, fire?? personal accident etc) can be got from Yvonne Jukes, at Airsports Insurance:

01983-298480 tel or fax on this number.

Thanks Rod,

I had heard of Airsports but, being a 'tight git', I thought that I would shop around a bit.

Actually, I have only found one other company that does it and, to be frank, I don't think these insurance companies fancy our chances!

Try; http://www.snowcard.co.uk/

Well, Yvonne told me that the theft etc cover on Paragliders is expensive because an extraordinarily high number of them (around 5-10%) are reported stolen to the insurers at around the time they are old enough that the owner would be wanting to buy a new one.....

My my, such cynicism!

It's still not clear to me which insurance you're looking for - personal life cover perhaps, to include PG risk?
