Some friends want to go to USA to fly, They want to go with their gliders. Which air lines do accept to ship hangglider between France and USA ? the gliders are rigid, so the length is more than 6,20 meters.

Rigids at 6,2 meters, pretty short rigids.. mine (Ghostbuster is greater than 12 meters). If it's a normal hang glider, Delta has carried mine before. You must break down to around 4 meters, place bubble wrap in the glider bag and wrap it around the glider prior to zipping it closed. All areas that chaf should also have lots of bubble wrap. Excess baggage is about $120.00 US.

One of the glider is a Ghostbuster. When it is packed, the length is about 6,20 meters , when it is open , it is more than 12 meters.
How do you break down to around 4meters a Ghostbuster ? I believe it is possible for a normal glider but for a rigid !!!
